Sessions include: coping with a bleeding disorder, John Jared from HHS and As the Doc’s. There are fun programs for the teens/children to participate in: Knight’s Crossing and Ziggy’s games and activities. To register please contact BDFW at 206.533.1660 Women and Girls’ Retreat In May 2007 women and girls from all over Washington came together for a weekend of education, relaxing, fun and networking. Educational topics included nutrition, von Willbrands 101 and communicating effectively with medical providers. CSL Behring Men and Boy’s Fishing Adventure Men & Boy’s came together in 2007 for two events. In July they united for a three hour salmon adventure on a fishing charter. In late December they united again at the EMP – Sci-Fi museum were they shared their stories and enjoyed the venue. Check back for updates. Sponsored by:
Wyeth, Baxter, Bayer Emergency Assistance BDFW’s Emergency Assistance program is to support community members who are experiencing financial hardship. The program is set up to assist individuals/families affected by a bleeding disorder and is in need assistance with electric, food, medical or other critical needs. All requests are reviewed by the BDFW’s Emergency Assistance Committee. Sponsored by:
Hemophelia Health Services, CVS Caremark. Family Activities This year the BDFW was able to conduct two family outings during the 2007. One family outing, Mini Put Put was held June 2007. The second family outing was held in August at Bullwinkles Family Fun Center Holiday Party Families and individuals came together to share the holiday season in December. Participants enjoyed networking, lunch, visit from Santa Claus, holiday arts and crafts. Snow was provided by Mother Nature for the young at heart. Sponsored by:

Women and Girl’s Day at The Pacific Northwest Ballet December 8, 2007 twenty women and girls enjoyed the Pacific Northwest Ballet performance of the Nutcracker.
